Journey to the centre of the earth

1959 movie: the scene and background are more "theatre like". You can feel the "man made" objects.

2008 movie: the advance in technology provides a more realistic approach to the making of the scene. (please ignore the concert between the scenes!)

Disney Sea Japan theme ride: opened in September 2001. The designer of the ride read the novel and watched the 1959 movie. However, the creatures along the ride is made up and not from either the novel and the movie.
