These museum is a piece of art itself. The flows and pathways overlap and connect in order to create a dynamic and interactive space. Continuity of spaces makes it a suitable place for any kind of moving and temporary exhibition. The place is ver flexibly without interruption of walls and partition.
The building is dominated by curved walls, black staircases and skylight.
Zaha Hadid intended it to embody the fluidity of modern life..
Numba Park by the Jerde Partnership (2003)
Namba Parks is a large park in Osaka's dense urban condition.
The project features a lifestyle commercial center with eight floors including office and shopping mall with a rooftop park that crosses multiple blocks . Park connects to the street, making it easy access by pedestrian and mobility. It is a green lung for the big and busy city where people can go refresh.
ChonGae Canal Restoration Project by Mikyoung Kim Design (2007)
Location: Central Seoul, Korea
The restoration intended to remark the possibilities that North and South Korea will be reunited. The effortto reunite is presented by the use of donated local stone from each of the eight provinces of North and South Korea. The individual stones act to frame the urban plaza and the eight source points where runoff is daylighted and represents the unified effort in the transformation of this urban center.
The goal was to restore this highly polluted and covered water-way with the demolition of
nearly four miles of elevated highway infrastructure that divided the city.
The outcome is the creation of a pedestrian focused zone.
The stepped stone resemble the various levels of water season by season,
year by year, encouraging direct public engagement with the river.
